Key Development Stages: 0–8 Weeks
During the first two months, your baby undergoes rapid changes and development. Our team is here to offer a comprehensive health check, which includes a full physical examination and assessment of feeding, growth, and well-being. We also check for conditions like tongue-tie and provide support for any concerns you may have following your baby’s discharge from hospital.
Our lactation consultants and dietitians are available to offer hands-on support with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or combination feeding. If feeding issues, such as tongue-tie, are identified, we can arrange prompt treatment to make feeding more comfortable and efficient for your baby.
Key Development Stages: 2–6 Months
As your baby grows, we continue to closely monitor their development between 2 and 6 months of age. Our focus during this period includes the detection of common concerns like reflux, feeding difficulties, and early signs of allergies, such as cow’s milk protein allergy. Regular assessments allow us to ensure that your baby is growing well and reaching their developmental milestones.
At this stage, we also offer advice on sleep patterns, provide guidance on developmental play, and help parents understand how to engage with their baby to support healthy growth and development. We ensure that any concerns, whether they’re about sleep, feeding, or developmental progress, are addressed promptly.
Ongoing Support
We recognise that the first six months can be both rewarding and overwhelming. Our team is here to provide ongoing support throughout this crucial period, offering expert care, reassurance, and practical guidance. Whether you’re dealing with specific issues like feeding challenges or simply need advice on your baby’s progress, we are here to assist you at every stage.
Our dedicated team of paediatricians, lactation consultants, and dietitians is committed to providing the highest level of care for your newborn. With regular check-ups and continuous support, we ensure that both you and your baby feel supported and confident as you embark on this new chapter of life.
